D5 Awards Terms and Conditions

D5 Inc. (D5) invites you to participate in the D5 Award Program and share your work. This Agreement covers D5 Awards and future activities. Some events may be region-specific, check the website for details. If an activity has a separate agreement, that applies first. Otherwise, this agreement applies. Read this Agreement carefully.

You can choose to participate in this Program. By submitting and uploading your Content, you confirm that you understand and accept this Agreement, you are legally competent to enter into this Agreement, and you are bound by its terms. If you disagree, do not upload any content to D5.

Rewards are issued as product keys and cash. Rewards will be issued within 90 days after D5 receives necessary information from you. Rewards will be issued via wire transfer or other agreed method. For D5 Pro licenses, the product key will be emailed. For cash rewards, payments will be in U.S. dollars. Rewards may be subject to taxes and fees, which will be deducted from your reward. You will be responsible for all taxes, fees and related costs resulting from any payments made hereunder.

Intellectual Property Rights

1.1 You confirm that all Contents you submit to D5 are either your original work or legally licensed. The intellectual property rights of the Contents belong to you or the original copyright owners.

1.2 This Agreement covers D5’s use of your personal details and any third parties featured in the Contents. You confirm that you have obtained necessary permissions from all recognisable individuals in the Contents.

1.3 If your Contents include images of a minor, you confirm that you have written permission from the minor’s parent or guardian for commercial use.

1.4 By submitting your content to D5, you grant D5 the right to:

1. Use, modify, publish, display the content and create derivatives globally, permanently, and freely;
2. Incorporate part or all of the Content into any media or technologies;
3. Exploit the updated and published Content for business or non-business purposes;
4. Provide download, on-demand and data transmission services;
5. Authorize third parties to use the Content;
6. Use the Content and/or Appearances in other ways not listed above.

1.5 You grant D5 a license to use the Contents for marketing, promoting, monetizing through advertising, licensing, and other means. D5 may incorporate the Contents into its own content or materials to create the “D5 Network Materials.”

1.6 You acknowledge that all promotional materials belong to D5 and are protected by copyright laws. You will not use these materials for commercial purposes without D5's written permission. D5 owns all rights to derivative works containing the Contents that are part of the D5 Network Materials.
