By proceeding with the application for the D5 Render Educational License (“EDU License”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before continuing.
1. License Grant & Eligibility Requirements
The EDU License is available only to currently enrolled students, full-time faculty members, and officially employed educational staff of accredited educational institutions.
You must apply using your own valid educational email address and provide accurate, truthful, and complete personal and institutional information.
By applying, you expressly represent and warrant that:
You are applying on your own behalf using your own legitimate educational identity; You did not and will not purchase, obtain, borrow, or use any third-party service, account, identity, or credential to meet eligibility requirements.You are the sole and legitimate holder of the educational identity used in the application process.
Any use of purchased, fake, rented, borrowed, or otherwise inauthentic student/faculty credentials is strictly prohibited and will be deemed a fraudulent act, resulting in immediate revocation of the EDU License and account, and may lead to permanent ban from D5 services.
2. License Scope
The EDU License:
includes the most functionality of the D5 Render Professional License;is strictly limited to non-commercial, teaching, learning, and academic research purposes conducted by the license holder;is a fixed device license, allowing one account to be bound to one physical device only.
Commercial projects, paid work, professional production, business design, studio projects, commission work, or any activity generating direct or indirect commercial benefit are strictly prohibited.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in, or attempt to engage in, the following:
Sell, rent, lend, gift, distribute, transfer, sublicense, or resell the EDU account, eligibility, or access in any manner;Share or alternate use of the EDU account with other individuals, including classmates, colleagues, or family members;Use, purchase, or employ any third-party “EDU qualification services,” “student identity resellers,” “account farming services,” or similar intermediaries to obtain or maintain the license;Apply for or use the EDU License if you are not the legitimate and current student or faculty member associated with the educational institution;Engage in reverse engineering, cracking, copying, or bypassing technical protection measures.
Any attempt to bypass device binding, identity verification, or institutional eligibility checks constitutes a material breach of the terms.
4. Identity Verification and Audit Rights
D5 reserves the right to:
Verify your educational status and the authenticity of your provided information at any time during the application process and throughout the license term;Request supporting documents (e.g., current and valid student ID, official enrollment proof, faculty employment certificate, or other documentation we deem necessary) for verification purposes;Suspend your account or license access pending the completion of such verification.
Failure to provide valid and satisfactory proof within seven (7) calendar days of our request will lead to immediate and permanent revocation of the license.
5. Consequences of Violation
If any breach of these terms is detected, including but not limited to:
Obtaining the license through identity fraud or misrepresentation (including but not limited to using purchased credentials);Misuse of the EDU License for commercial purposes,Sharing or reselling the account,Bypassing device binding or technical restrictions,
D5 may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:
Immediately and permanently revoke the EDU License;Permanently disable or restrict the associated account and block the bound device from activating any D5 software in the future;Terminate access to all D5 products and services;Prohibit you and the associated device from re-applying for EDU or any other promotional licenses;Pursue any and all available legal or equitable remedies, which may include seeking damages resulting from the fraudulent acquisition and use of the software.
D5 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROJECTS, HARDWARE ISSUES, OR ANY OTHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE REVOCATION OR TERMINATION OF THE LICENSE DUE TO YOUR BREACH OF THESE TERMS.

By applying for the EDU License, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to:
