What are the content requirements to participate in the Thanksgiving Challenge?
We welcome all artists and designers to share content, but the theme needs to be related to Thanksgiving.
As for format and resolution, here is what we are looking for:
- Still images rendered on D5
- Animations rendered on D5
How to submit?
Submission is easy.
Upload your content to Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo or social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, and then share the link here.
Once you finalize the submission, you will get an email notification usually by the end of each month. Just make sure the email address submitted is valid.
By submitting, you are agreeing to the D5 Awards Terms and Conditions.
Can I participate in both the Awards Program and the Thanksgiving Challenge and get double rewards?
The Thanksgiving Challenge is a limited event for the Awards program, and you can choose to participate in either the regular Awards program or in the Thanksgiving Challenge from the drop-down menu. These are two different prize pools, you will need to submit separate entries if you want to participate in both. Note that the Thanksgiving Challenge requires the submission of a Thanksgiving-themed rendering.The same entry will only win once, unless separate entries are submitted for the regular Awards program and the Thanksgiving challenge.
Can I win the Best Rendering Prize, Best Story Prize and Surprise Prize at the same time?
The Best Rendering Prize and the Best Story Prize cannot be duplicated, but can be stacked with the Surprise Prize.
What are the criteria for evaluating entries in the Thanksgiving challenge?
D5 team, along with a panel of experts, will assess the renderings based on various criteria, including Composition and Perspective, Creativity and Originality, Overall Atmosphere, and Visual Storytelling, to determine the best renderings. The Best Story Prize will be decided through an internal team vote.
How do I know my entry was selected to win the challenge?
We will send out emails to those who are eligible to win within 10 working days of the end of the event. We thank each and every one of the creators who participated in our challenge, and if you didn't receive your email, stay tuned for more exciting events we'll be bringing soon to keep the creative juices flowing.
