What is Round Corner and how to use it
Round Corner, a small tool with big use, can be applied to make edges of an object smooth and soft. Whether you are an architect, interior designer, or landscape designer, you will find it of great use to make the rendering more exquisite, because few objects in the real world have sharp, right-angled edges.
With the newly added feature "Round Corner" in D5 Render 2.3, you can switch on soft edges with one click, no longer having to struggle with the complicated materials nodes to achieve this effect like in other rendering tools.

To quickly create soft edges, you can select the material you need with the shortcut key "I" and go to Inspector > Advanced. There you'll find the switch to turn on Round Corner. You can adjust the value of Radius to see how round the edge should be.

The use of Round Edges in design
Round Corner plays a role in many fields such as architectural visualization, interior design and landscape design. Think about the world we live in: tables, cabinets, rocks and many other things with soft edges. Now you can use Round Corner in D5 Render to easily make them, with no need to spend a lot of time modeling them.
Round Corner in Architecture
For architecture visualization, you can turn on Round Corner, for example, for the materials of the wall and the stone columns to add more details. At the same time, this feature also makes highlight and shadow effects on the wall and column surfaces more appealing.

Round Corner in Interior Design
Round Corner is commonly used to create furniture as well. When turning Round Corner on, it can simulate the weathering of the wall baseboard.
Now let's take a look at this example.

Round Corner in Landscape Design
Roud Corner also works well with landscape design. When rocks look very sharp, you can turn on the Round Corner option and adjust Radius to a larger value.
